The Obama Administration seems like it will be putting out fires started by the Bush Administration’s disregard for international law, our allies’ law and our constitution well into the future. Being that then Senator Clinton voted for the Iraq War and Senators Clinton & Obama voted for reauthorization of the Patriot Act, they reap what they sow. They are pushing the UK to sit on evidence regarding a Guantanamo detainee. The secrecy makes it worse. If the information has not been revealed now, the Obama Administration shows its more comfortable with authoritarian secrecy than they claim.

Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, warned David Miliband that America would consider cutting security co-operation with the UK if a British court releases information about a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, two judges have been told.
