Bayless v Ochocinco

Standard

On ESPN First Take’s “debate” segment 1st and 10:

I hate when Bayless makes a good point, because he such a happy antagonist, but I didn’t like Chad Johnson’s (now Ochocinco) HOF jacket celebration either.

Ochocinco insists he will be in the NFL Hall of Fame when his career is over. Bayless should have brought up Herman Moore or Sterling Sharpe, two guys who at one point were both the best playing but due to being on a bad team (Moore’s Lions) or career ending injury (Sharpe’s neck) never had the opportunity to establish themselves as the best ever. He should also bring up Cris Carter, the NFL great who although being in the top 3 in most (all?) major WR categories at retirement has to wait his turn for induction.
