I’m Luimbe and this is my blog. For lack of better ideas for a blog name and because other Luimbe’s are hard to find making the domain easy to buy, I bought Luimbe.com and started blogging in 2009.

 

…and WHY DO YOU BLOG?

I think we (the royal societal we) think better when we have to express our ideas, publish them and let others (including our future selves) scrutinize them. More about that here.

…THESE THINGS YOU WRITE ABOUT, WHAT ARE THEY?

For your convenience I try to obsessively Tag each post, link to all my sources and I have a few basic categories:

Politics and Money.
I am liberal about a lot of things and most posts will be from that point of view.

Science and Technology.
Science, Technology, Gadgets. All that geek stuff. In here.

Leisure.
nonsense. Culture, arts, entertainment, pop culture, night life, clubs. That will go here.

Sports.
sports related nonsense. Being a Philadelphia sports fan, it will be from the perspective of someone who follows the Eagles, Phillies and 76ers. I also cheer for the Flyers in the playoffs but can’t in any way shape or form really call myself a hockey fan (even though HD helped get me that far). Except when the NHL holds the outdoor games. Those are excellent. I’ll also pipe up about the FIFA World Cups and other tournaments, Boxing and Tennis.
