Are most Hawaii workplaces open most Fridays? If the answer is yes, I am not sure if is this is the best idea to have kids out of school with their primary caretakers busy keeping food on the table. If this helps push a sea change in the states workplaces towards more flexible work hour plans for parents, then I am all for it. It will be interesting to see what happens.
