According to Mitt Romney, the crux of Obama’s mistakes in the Middle East:
- Obama shouldn’t have left Iraq last year despite the fact that about 75% of Americans supported Iraq Withdrawal, the invasion of which left a newly reborn Iraq Shi’a led and dangerously close to the Iranian government
- Obama shouldn’t withdrawal from Afghanistan despite the fact it’s a date that was negotiated by the Bush Administration in the SOFA and Afghanistan Conflict is already the longest war in American history.
- Obama failed to arm more Syrian rebels faster even though we have built a regional coalition supporting intervention it’s members are still tentative at best, we had to find a way to circumvent Syrian rebel groups that are actually sympathetic to post-Assad theocracy than they are to any secular democratic rule and the CIA has been steering weapons to Syrian rebels since mid summer.
- Romney will fight for a two state solution despite the fact he clearly stated he doesn’t believe a two state solution will ever be negotiated, he outlined his policy as directly aligning any US policy with leadership of Israel on matters in the region
But yet undecided Buzz Bissinger became a Romney man because he somehow believes Romney’s “move to the center” isn’t a flip-flop, because the real Mitt was the debate Mitt because he had that flair. Dear liberals: Let’s just calm down. These are called “bandwagons” in sports. Let’s just stay on ours.
