Romney, the Cheneys and other Republicans have criticized Obama for not rubber stamping McChrystals request for 40K more troops for Afghanistan. Its important to remember: the people who supported George W. Bush (who denied Afghanistan troop increase requests and started another war in Iraq that drew focus and resources away from Afghanistan) are the same people saying Obama should give General McChrystal whatever he wants.
